PAPIER TIGRE [FR]
A 3 piece rock band with Eric Pasquereau, Arthur de la Grandiere and Pierre Antoine Parois. The music turns around a subtle equilibrium due to the fact that there is no bass. Hard pounding drums and heart felt vocals lead the way as the two guitars create landscapes.
The urgent but not lost feel reminds us of bands like Fugazi or Q and Not U, the loose tensions could recall June of 44, not to forget it's powerful edge sound wise and lyric wise that somewhat resemble to works of The Ex.
They gathered up all their energy and their past experiences into making their first record a significant voice.
PAPIER TIGRE is also a very active live band that has played with Battles (warp), Charlottefield (fatcat), I love you but I've chosen darkness (secretly candian), Radio4 (interscope)
FORDAMAGE [FR]
After some crusades within several rock bands, Am諩e, Anthony, Pierre(Faustine Seilman Band) and Vincent (My Name Is Nobody, Faustine Seilman Band) started Fordamage in October, 2004... Fordamage or how a girl and three guys, undisciplined pupils of Arab on Radar and Jesus Lizard create a joyfull messy noise-rock, ideal ground where four abrasive voices fight themselves in a sharp music riddled with incisive melodies.
In December of 2005, they locked themselves for four days in a house with Miguel Constantino (Passe Montagne, Sincabeza, Papier Tigre...) as the sound engineer to record their first album. The Blood Brothers universe is not far, the energy on stage neither.
